Carpe Noctum - Sacred Night

Into the night we all most go...

But what of the dieing of the day?

Do we all listen and just sway?

In the night do we lose our sight?

What of our way?

A vow once taken,
to the show the way.

Hard to walk.
When the past will not talk.

Craving controls a once elegant soul,
Fey flesh once glistening in the sun,
now misty, with out substance in the nigh.

Wrapped in phantom memories,
warmed by the blessing of the lost.

His gypsy soul struggles to let go,
to take to the yearning of the road.

Two-spirited, thus must be balanced,
yet, not at times, heart heavy with his sighs.

Vowed to stay until all are saved,
Weary, weary is all he hears.

So to the night he struggles to keep a lit,
the beauty within his hidden sight.

New songs are need for this period of the night,
Random calls, in cirling in the night.

Me thinks he should stop in the tavern to partake a bit of the lovers wine?
To wash out the sorrows, to refresh the soul, wakening to his eyes to the true beauty of the sacred night.

Thus I am left with the blessing of Nyx given to all those who are lost, yet not found.

Remember wanders, be you far or near, take heed of the night, be not in fright,
for even in the darkness there be stars to guild your sight,
always dream of the light.
